I’ve worked as a journalist, trainer and professional presenter and communicator for over 25 years and have gathered a significant following on my YouTube channel which explores how to age well and look and feel better for longer.
If you’re looking for an inspiring speaker on self development and confidence, an experienced voiceover and presenter, or personal coach who can help you improve your communication skills read on to find out how you can work with me.
Training and Coaching
Over the past 25 years of my career in journalism and content creation I’ve trained and coached both media colleagues and business clients, and in 2022 was named Journalism Trainer of the Year at the Women in Local News Awards.
I’ve worked with some of the UK’s biggest news organisations, including the Press Association, Reach Plc and the BBC, and have a wealth of expertise to share.
From helping people master their video presenting and public speaking skills, to giving them the tools to communicate confidently in everyday life, it is my passion to share what I have learned with others so that they can work and live more fulfilling lives.
A lack of confidence can hold us back, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Voicing and Presenting
I’ve been presenting my own YouTube channel – The Honest Channel – which has attracted over 5 million views, as well as voicing commercials, corporate work and videos for clients across the UK and Europe for over 5 years.
For examples of my presenting style you can watch me in action on The Honest Channel, and email me at clare@honest.scot for voice demos and to discuss your project.
Public Speaking
If you’re looking for someone who can inspire your audience with my own story of overcoming imposter syndrome and building a successful career and YouTube channel then do get in touch at clare@honest.scot
With self-deprecating humour, I can reveal how nerves before an appearance on BBC Woman’s Hour nearly had me fleeing the studio before learning some life-changing lessons that mean I – and you – simply cannot fail.
