The Daily Visualization That Helped Restore My Joy and Beat Overwhelm!

There’s a source within each of us that provides an endless fountain of hope, wisdom, inspiration and joy.

Just knowing this makes it more easily accessible to you.

Not knowing leads to a disrupted supply and sometimes no supply at all.

I found it at The Well.

The Source is the stream that fills it.

It teaches us how to enjoy and explore the opportunity this life presents us with.

The more you visit, the more inspired you become.

Why I Created The Well

Set out above are the opening words from a text guide I’ve created on this site that I hope will help you as much as it’s helped me.

In recent months, I’ve felt the effects of information overload more than ever—scrolling social media, trying to keep up with the latest information and research for my channel, and feeling my head fill to the brim.

Whenever I tried to meditate or even practice mindfulness, I could not control my thoughts.

Instead of calm, I’d be trying to remember if I’d sent that email I was supposed to – or when my next dentist’s appointment was!

Out of this struggle came something unexpected: The Well.

What is The Well?!

I believe the answers we’re looking for to life’s challenges are already inside of us, but we need to be able to draw on them.

This is also true of the sense of purpose and direction we seek. It’s all there for the discovery.

Some find clarity and guidance through meditation and prayer, but others can find it hard to still their minds long enough to really listen.

The Well is a simple 5-minute visualization that offers daily hope, inspiration, and clarity.

It stills our minds and quietens thoughts long enough for us to draw from it what we need.

I wrote about how this visualization first came to mind and what I have learned from my visits to The Well —the lessons, the surprises, the inspiration I found.

I’ve now gathered these reflections on my website to help inspire you and also so you can try this practice yourself.

Sharing The Well

If you take a close look at the picture my husband recently took of me sitting at a real well close to our home, you can see a rainbow shining right behind me.

I took comfort from it that publishing this and sharing my reflections with you was the right thing to do because it’s a bit of a departure from my usual work talking about healthy aging.

That’s because our mental wellbeing is absolutely pivotal to our physical wellbeing and we need to find effective ways in a very fast world to draw calm and restock on inspiration.

Scroll down to visit The Well. And to thank you for following my work, you can access The Well an unlimited number of times for £1.50 (about $2)—half the regular price—using the code HONEST50 at checkout.
